Enjoy the rewards of energy efficiency in your home! For information on certain rebates and to fill out a packet, please look through the options below and click on the rebate you're interested in. Also feel free to contact your local OTEC office. This list of utility incentives is updated throughout the year.

Buy Local

Buy your product, that qualifies for an OTEC rebate, from a local vendor and receive an additional credit on your electric bill for our Buy Local Program, without any added paperwork.

Heating & Cooling Programs

Ducted Heat Pumps, Ductless Heat Pumps, Central Air Conditioning

OTEC offers various rebates for heat pumps and air conditioning. Rebates range from $150 on up.

Web Enabled Thermostats

OTEC offers a $100 rebate for our members who have the following types of heating & cooling systems and install one of the approved thermostats.

  • All Electric Air to Air Heat Pump
  • Electric Ground Source Heat Pump
  • Electric Forced Air Furnace

Residential Smart (Web-Enabled) Thermostats

Manufactured Home Program

OTEC offers a minimum $600 incentive towards an all-electric new manufactored home that is construction to the National Energy Efficiency Manufactured (NEEM) home standards. The rebates are dependent on being certified as a NEEM 1.1 or NEEM 2.0.

OTEC offers rebates based on window type, heating, and cooling and how many square feet of windows you are replacing.

Do you have permanently installed electric heat and a home with zero insulation (either in the walls, floor or ceiling)?

Thermostatically Controlled Outlet Program

Do you have a pump house or a separate utility building that you keep heated with an electric space heater to keep the pipes from freezing? Purchase a thermostatically controlled outlet that turns the heater on at 35 and off at 45.
