Oregon Trail Electric Cooperative will resume normal collection activity, including disconnects and late fees for unpaid utilities, on Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
OTEC temporarily suspended disconnects and late fees on March 17, 2020 due to financial hardships placed on members due to COVID-19.
Over the last year, OTEC’s member service representatives continue to contact members to help them stay current with their bills by offering guidance for local resources and flexible payment options.
If a member service representative has not reached you, please contact OTEC as a soon as possible so we can work with you. There is still time to make other arrangements, set up a payment plan or seek financial assistance. We are actively helping members find other community assistance resources if needed, such as food, housing, or clothing.
